Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004)

IMDB rating: 6.60

Plot: Peter LaFleur is a charismatic underachiever and proprietor of a rundown gym called Average Joe’s. The facility’s ecclectic clientele of decidedly less-than-average Joes is comprised of: a self-styled pirate; a scrawny nerd who dreams of impressing an unattainable cheerleader; an obsessive aficionado of obscure sports; a dim-witted young man; and a cocky know-it-all who, of course, really knows nothing. Peter’s humble gym catches the eye of White Goodman, the power-mullet-sporting, Fu-Manchu-d, egomaniacal owner of Globo Gym, a gleaming monolith of fitness. White intends to take over Average Joe’s, and Peter’s non-existent bookkeeping is making it all too easy for him. A foreclosing bank has stationed attorney Kate Veatch inside Average Joe’s to finalize Globo’s takeover of the gym. But Peter’s boyish charms win her over and Kate joins his team of social rejects to beat the odds—and their own ineptitude—to try to save Average Joe’s. How? A showdown dodgeball competition against Globo Gym.

yea they are all kind of the same kind of genres.. either family movies or like pg-13 kind of type… comedy.. pg-13 action.. and a little of them are about terror or suspense. i see drama too. i dunno. u do seem young or young at heart. but i like those movies anyways. but dodgeball… that gives it away lol :) Karmen M | Feb 21, 2009

I can see that only a few of your movies are also in my collection, maybe because horror movies take up a lot of space in my movie collection.
I have quite a few movies from the 50s, 60s and 70s whereas your movies seem rather recent.
That said, I think you a nice collection and quite a wide range of genres.

We’re watching 10 Things I hate about you in my activity club at school. Don’t ask, it’s this weird thing my school does. But the teachers have great taste in movies! Like when Ms. Perky is writing her uh… novel. xD
