To compensate, he keeps notes in a small notebook to aid him in remembering what he is to do. He also lives with a blind friend (Jeff Daniels) who aids him. Actors: Csokas Marton,Miller Jonny Lee,Postlethwaite Pete,Kinski Nikolai,Joseph Paterson,Huber Thomas,Liu Weijian,Queck Maverick,Action,Sci-Fi,Adventure,Thriller,

How does one get into the animation field?
I want to be able to create my own cartoons eventually. I love the unique worlds such as Cowboy Bebop, or Aeon Flux… and I want to know how to get a job like that.

I graduated from art college several years ago. AAC in the bayarea. If you don’t know anyone who’s in animation field, you can try to present your idea and art work to the teachers in art school. Most of teachers in my school are not professional educator but professional artist. Such as most teachers who is teaching animation may from the big film company. Some of them fly from LA to give us class everyweek.
I thought you may start from their if you go some good stuff. But if you really got some great stuff, be careful with who you deal with. We had sign the contract that all our works belong to school when we were. I have known there some teachers keep student’s idea become their own…

jenny | Mar 24, 2006

Look into getting enrolled in a graphic arts class in a college or school, and take it from there.

Do a course in Animation…. If your drawing is very very good, then you stand a good chance.
nice_libra_guy | Mar 24, 2006

If you have the love and obviously talent you can!
Good animation takes countless time and effort.
Be consistant do not drift in to other things in that area
You can professionalize abything if you just keep on keeping on!

Goodluck, animation is good fun work
bringin life to a character is certainlya great feeling of giving birth.

Fantasia/2000
Fantasia/2000 (1999)

IMDB rating: 7.20

Plot: In this update of Disney’s masterpiece film mixture of animation and music, new interpretations of great works of music are presented. It begins with an abstract battle of light and darkness set to the music of Beethoveen’s Fifth Symphony. Then we see the adventures of a Humpback Whale calf and his pod set to “The Pines of Rome.” Next is the humourous story of several lives in 1930’s New York City, scored with “Rhapsody in Blue.” Following is a musical telling of the fairy tale, “The Steadfast Tin Soldier” set to Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Then a goofy Flamingo causes havoc in his flock with his yo-yo to the tune of the finale of “Carnival of the Animals.” This is followed by the classic sequence from the original film, “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” starring Mickey Mouse and followed by “Pomp and Circumstance” starring Donald Duck as a harried assistant to Noah on his Ark. Finally, we see the awesome tale of the life, death and renewal of a forest in a sequence featuring the composition, “The Firebird.”

Do you think "Fantasia 2000" will ever be re-released in IMAX or regular theaters?
I never got to see it in a theater, but I think it was only released in IMAX when it came out. It would be amazing to see it in an IMAX theater since I never got to see it in an IMAX theater. Sometimes movies do get re-released in theaters, and I just wondered if any of you knew if it might, could, or will in the future be re-released. It is an amazing film!

I’m glad to see that other people love that movie too! The segment with the fairy and the elk moves me to tears every time I see it. It looks like it was inspired by the Mt. St Helens eruption that was so devastating. It would be so incredible to see at an IMAX theater!

WENDYCAT | Jul 11, 2009

Gah, I wish it would. Highly doubt it though=/
Once… | Jul 11, 2009

No chance. More and more movies are being released as IMAX films so the theaters aren’t going to waste time with old movies when there are higher grossing IMAX movies to show (ie Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter).

Im not talking about my own horse!
I mean the carriage horses in the streets NOT my horse!

to have a team of drafts pulling a family or a wagon, no. http://www.andrewclem.com/Photos/Staunto n/BudweiserClydesdales.jpg those horses can easily pull that, and they’re perfectly happy doing it. it would be no more cruel than a person riding a horse.

this, http://www.worldofstock.com/slides/PRE78 76.jpg i do believe is somewhat cruel, depending on how many people are in there. to have a 1500 lb horse pulling 1500 lbs by itself through the snow is extremely hard on them. depends on the horse itself and it’s conditioning, though.

for me i wouldn’t leave my horse just sitting there with a cart I would take at least the cart off it that was at all possible to give my horse a rest. I think horses like that like to work and so I don’t think its cruel. But if I had a horse that did that I wouldn’t do it all the time. Maybe just once in ahwile? I like quarter horses :) quarterhorse | Feb 07, 2010

Yes, I think that it is cruel to have one horse pull a cart that weighs very much. It is terrible.

No, I have a pony that drives but I would only ever have him pull 2 people at a time. If you have 2 draft horses then they can pull way more. But I don’t think in that picture that that pony or small horse should pull as many people as that carriage can hold. I think that if you were to call driving or carriage driving cruelty than so is riding because jumping, which I do, is way worse on the horses body.
