What's wrong with me to make them act like this?
My name is Vanya. I’m 11 and don’t really care if I get reported,because I need answers. My favorite color is black and my favorite band is either H.I.M, Evanescence, Blue Oyster Cult, or Rascal Flatts. I don’t have a favorite singer but I hate Miley Virus (or is it Cyrus? Oh well!), Justin Bieber,and Lady Gaga. I have a MAD obsession with hatters, and you can blame Syfy for that. I have a mad obsession with Johnny Depp,too. I’m the only girl in our school who HATES Taylor Lautner,Robert Pattinson,Kristen Stewart and whoever else who fake acts. I’m the only one who is not going to waste my money on Eclipse and use it to see Alice In Wonderland in 3D. I tried to make friends with some boys at our school but they think I’m some physco maniac in love with Johnny Depp while they attempt to "get some" of the preppy Twilight loving girls,and make fun of the one who has SOME originalality. I live for slasher films. Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser,ect,you name it,I’ve seen it. I’m kinda crazy,when I’m hyper, I jump around and…well…be hyper,and I get teased for being "mad as a hatter." Which,I personally,take as a COMPLIMENT. We’re all mad,so why can’t I be myself without getting called "emo" or "mental". They KNOW I have problems,and they’re just making it worse. What should I do? Oh yeah, and my favorite movie is and will always be Edward Scissorhands. <3

Hold your head up high, be proud of who you are. The fact you’re probably comfortable with what you like really bothers them. They want that, they probably don’t have the same confidence as you.
We all get called names sometime in our lives, the truth is there will ALWAYS be someone out there that won’t like what you like or do. We just need to move on and deal with it, because there are other people who have the same interests as you, you’re not completely alone or an alien with your interests. (HIM are awesome, by the way!)
Especially kids around your age, they can be very judgemental. Don’t take it to heart.
