I’m planning on writing a story about a creepy family that run a creepy hotel. I want it to have an ‘Addams Family’ feel but more darker.
Characters
Mother: Cameo Daray. Cameo has to be the center of all attention and throws extravagant dinners in the main hall of the hotel. She is erratic and can go to do something but ends up doing something completely different. She rushes around trying to please her husband and make sure everything is perfect.

Father: Victor Daray. Victor is the strong silent type. He is quiet and spends most of the day in his office worrying about making ends meet so the hotel can keep going even though the hotel is doing ok. He and his wife desperately want another baby but haven’t had any luck so far. Daughter: Jezebelle Daray. Jezebelle is 18 and into witchcraft and also has a voodoo doll. She is quite ‘out there’ and is very flirtatious with males that stay at the hotel. She is forever cooking up concoctions and slipping them to the guests drinks to see what happens and in my story a young couple will stay at the hotel. Jezebelle will try to seduce the man but gets turned down because his fiance is with him. So, she poisons the girl with one of her potions which knocks her unconscious. She then ties her in the forest that is at the back of the hotel and leaves her there, leaving Jezebelle to go after the man. Son: Ashes Daray. Ashes is 16 and fairly quiet. He is convinced that he will die before he is 18 and near the beginning of the story he will contemplate suicide and even makes a noose. He decides against that idea but throughout the story he will look at coffins and headstones. Aunt: Satin Morgan. Satin is Cameos sister and has ten year old twins. She is kind of lazy and doesn’t really do any work around the hotel. She killed her husband, or so she tells her sister Cameo but really she has got him locked in the dungeon like basement. No one knows he’s there and he can’t get out because he’s shackled. She’s sneaky.

Luna and Lace Morgan: They are Satins twin daughters.
Luna is a dangerous and wild girl. She often tries to terrorize and hurt the guests who stay at the hotel. She is also nasty to her twin and also tries to hurt her too. She sets up little traps for the guests and basically just runs amuck with her imaginary friend (who is actually one of two ghosts which inhabits the hotel). http://winterrose31.deviantart.com/art/M orbid-Mikaela-67824766
Lace is the opposite to Luna. She is sweet and caring. She is regularly favored by the guests and sometimes receives treats from them as they see what her twin (and whole family) is like. She has a doll which she calls ‘Porcelain’ and it’s her best friend. The doll has a crack down it’s face from when Luna threw it out of a window but one of the gusts glued it back together. I forgot. Do you think the pictures match the characters and would you change anything?
I don’t like how the twins have names that start with the same letter. It is so cliche. I am a twin and I absolutely hate names beginning with the same letter and rhyming names. You should give them more independent sounding names.
I also feel your story has too many feminine characters. You only have 2 guys compared to the 5 women. Why can’t you throw in a cousin Alfie or something to even the playing field more?
Other than that, I really like the descriptions of your characters. I can’t see the photos from my computer, so I can’t comment on that.
Also the set up reminds me more of Addams Family crossed with the Munsters since Lace is a good, "normal" person, like the niece or cousin or whatever she was in the Munsters.

Yes. I love them lol. I actually like the fact that the twins names start with the same letter, their mum seems the type to name them like that. I think they are all really good, especially Jezebel, Ashes, Lace and Luna. Very good.
